墨西哥國際航空（AeroMéxico）一架班機在當地時間31日下午3時許墜毀於杜蘭戈國際機場（Durango International Airport）附近，現場冒出濃濃黑煙。外媒指出，這架班機上至少載着101人，墨西哥航空已確認是一場「意外事件」。杜蘭戈州長託雷斯（José Rosas Aispuro）在推特上指出，相關細節將會陸續公佈。而最新消息指出，85人受傷、沒有人員死亡。

有媒體報導指出，飛機在緊急降落時墜毀，但另有說法是起飛後沒多久就墜毀，墨西哥國際航空正確定資訊狀況以及意外的細節，而該州已派出緊急救難隊和醫療人員趕往現場協助，有媒體引自現場說法，有85人受傷，無人死亡。據瞭解，這架班機有97位乘客、4名機組成員，共101人。

Ante el percance ocurrido en el Aeropuerto Guadalupe Victoria de Durango he solicitado a los cuerpos de seguridad y emergencias atiendan el lamentable accidente. Oficialmente no hay cifras de heridos o fallecidos. En breve se darán a conocer los detalles de las acciones de apoyo.
